early life & education

siber emigrated bavaria, germany parents @ age 9 in 1953 montreal. @ time, spoke no english. later, attended chambly academy graduated in 1962. @ chambly, later become penfield academy, siber convinced wilder penfield pursue career in medicine.

after high school, attended bishop s university in lennoxville, quebec 1962 1966 graduated honors , obtained bachelor of science. siber attended mcgill university in montreal, canada became doctor of medicine in 1970. during time siber published research completed @ montreal neurological institute.

siber both , canadian citizen. has homes in manhattan , beijing.
