in addition original canterbury site on north holmes road, university has 4 other sites around city - augustine house , hall place enterprise centre sidney cooper gallery , st. george s centre . has further campuses , centres in kent - @ broadstairs, tunbridge wells , medway, (as part of universities @ medway partnership).

in 2000, canterbury christ church acquired lease of sidney cooper gallery in canterbury city centre, established art school noted cattle painter thomas sidney cooper in 1868. art students moved building in december 2002, taking original use art school. in 2004, refurbished gallery space opened public. gallery exhibits staff , student work, work local, national , international artists. grapevine gallery , cafe opened public in september 2006, selling artwork students , staff providing internet cafe facilities.

in 2003-2004, 2 major buildings acquired in canterbury – large office block formerly known clarkson house, demolished , replaced augustine house, new building designed architectural practice adp , home of university s integrated library , student support services. project completed in 2009. augustine house won best educational project category @ local authority building control awards south east region.

in 2009 university built sports centre called christ church sports centre houses health , fitness facilities students , staff. used students on physical education , sport , exercise courses venue performance analysis , research.

hall place, 16th-century building in harbledown, has been renovated , renamed hall place enterprise centre. home centre enterprise , business development, gateway business support , access academic resources , training programmes small businesses.

the university used preparation grounds national team of puerto rico @ 2012 summer olympics.

a new st. george s centre opened @ beginning of 2012 academic year. incorporates student union facilities, bars , accommodation 5 hundred residents.

in april 2014 announced canterbury christ church university had bought former site of canterbury prison. university consulting on plans convert building student accommodation north holmes campus.

north holmes campus in canterbury original site university, established in 1962 teacher training college. offers range of undergraduate , postgraduate programmes across 4 faculties: arts , humanities; business , management; education; health , social care , social , applied sciences. university largest centre of higher education in kent public services, notably teacher training, nursing, social care , policing.

the salomons museum museum, north of tunbridge wells. preserves country house of sir david salomons, first jewish lord mayor of london, , of nephew, sir david lionel salomons, scientist , engineer. called broomhill . university acquired salomons museum national health service (nhs) in 1995.

the university sold campus in 2012, leasing stable block , gate lodges in order continue provide base applied psychology programmes , consultancy work. lease expires in 2016 (with option extend lease until 2018). applied psychology programmes relocated new site in tunbridge wells area, though there no confirmed site.

salomons centre applied psychology offers postgraduate clinical psychology programmes including doctorate in clinical psychology , phd in professional practice. provides training local nhs trusts.
