the museum contains 45 arts , crafts workshops have been recreated, 20.000 vintage finds catalogued , protected superintendence of cultural heritage of messina.


the exhibition includes approximately 3000 exhibits collection.


the workshops reconstruct cycle of handicraft work using traditional methods, showing restored , working tools , instruments. exhibition follows ideas of sicilian scholar giuseppe pitrè, 1 of founders of ethno-anthropological science in italy in 19th century.
