accommodation on campus expanded in 1970s construction of unusual split-level flats of east slope. development has social building porters office , bar.


in 1990s, student numbers rose, further developments constructed in corner of campus between east slope , park village. brighthelm , lewes court constructed in public-private partnership funding arrangements bradford & northern , kelsey housing associations.


in total there 7 areas of student accommodation on campus. 2 newer accommodation areas completed recently: 1 next falmer railway station, named stanmer court, , other next east slope, opposite bramber house, known swanborough.


the newest student residences, named northfield, constructed @ top end of campus, beyond lewes court, opened in september 2011, more planning opened december 2013.
