the four-issue mini-series called welcome jungle, ran prequel storm front mid-2008. compilation of run released hardcover graphic novel in october 2008. storm front announced next adaptation, same creative team. first issue released in november 2008. welcome jungle nominated first hugo award best graphic story.

midway through production of storm front, title changed hands dabel brothers dynamite entertainment, causing long gap between issues #5 , #6. artist ardian syaf left project work dc, , brett booth brought in finish graphic novel. issue #6 slated may 2010.
