after leaving art college, developed interest in producing items using potters wheel. applying bright colour had used earlier onto newly thrown pots.


working home, began selling pottery pieces barrow @ dockside arts centre, in bristol, 1985. earliest designs included humorous frantic chicken , rose motif seemed appropriate next name. roses began grow in three-dimensional form on rims of vases , on handles of mugs, , called rose encrusted .
