connecticut

connecticut contains 169 incorporated towns. put terms equivalent other new england states, 20 cities/boroughs , 149 towns. maine contains 488 organized municipalities of 23 incorporated cities, 431 incorporated towns, , remaining 34 organized plantations. these 488 organized municipalities cover of, not of, state s territory. of maine s sixteen counties, 4 entirely incorporated. 4 other counties entirely incorporated, include small amounts of unincorporated/unorganized territory (three of these 4 counties entirely incorporated or organized @ 1 time, lost status when town disincorporated or plantation surrendered organization). remaining 8 counties contain significant amounts of unincorporated/unorganized territory. of these areas in sparsely populated regions, however. 1.3% of state s population lives in areas not part of town, city, or plantation.
