on friday 12 february 2017, bomb detonated @ budget market kurmi (khar) bazaar in parachinar, in kurram valley of federally administered tribal areas of pakistan. @ least 31 people killed , 40 injured. blast took place @ around 1:45 pm in market. officials said blast took place in busy khar bazaar, known kurma bazaar, when young suicide bomber rushed towards crowd , detonated explosives strapped body. “the target of bomber imambargah; however, did not succeed in attacking that,” sajid hussain toori, lawmaker region, told express tribune.
