fair received osu’s distinguished service award in 1986 service not in athletic training, service high schools, , teaching classes. awarded melvin jones award stillwater lions club service lions , community , in 1994 national association of athletic trainers awarded him distinguished athletic trainer award. instrumental in helping write , encourage passage of oklahoma licensure of athletic trainers. served on oklahoma board of examiners member , chairman , helped develop oklahoma state athletic trainers association. fair taught courses associated health , physical education athletic training @ oklahoma state university, langston university, , oklahoma osteopathic college. fair worked football legends such jimmy johnson, pat jones, mike gundy, thurman thomas, , heisman trophy winner barry sanders.
