all 3 defendants witnessed running @ kinsella prior murder , later standing shortly afterwards. alleyne , kika seen going alleyne s father s flat. flat raided police shortly afterwards, alleyne , kika had walked through police cordon , fled alleyne s cousin s flat in chadwell heath apprehended after running along rooftops. alleyne s father had indicated alleyne , kika returned flat around 02.30, changed statement 6 months later, claiming confused due injury received during raid itself. when giving testimony, alleyne s father admitted son had said him, if hadn t been you, wouldn t in mess .

72 spots of kinsella s blood later identified on pair of alleyne s jeans handed sister dispose of, , traces found on kika s belt.

several of kinsella s friends testified braithwaite s activities in shillibeers nightclub.

alleyne s cousin kellie later claimed alleyne , kika had confessed murder her.

after handing himself in police, braithwaite first claimed did not know either alleyne or kika. later claimed had seen alleyne stab kinsella had not been involved himself. stated alleyne had reputation using weapons , concerned impact telling police have upon family. no forensic evidence found in relation braithwaite; however, police found of clothes had been washed in bleach.

aware cousin kellie going give evidence against him, alleyne wrote threatening letter jail, reading:

to slag aka snitch, let down family. not cousin, believe that. how gonna give letters boydem , snitching on me? not real @ all. when see you? mum s still on road, careful how move. don t know how move on road. m boss. people in north no [sic] am. fuck that. when shit hits fan, snitch.

i don t know fuck are, don t try keep me out of jail. m real nigga , ask dad me, s seen things. best hope don t bust case because people in trouble , never snitch on again, promise that.

say no more, ghost. ain t got time rite [sic] snitches, family s not real. got statements, know kellie snitch. see, snitches touched.

you see blood, tottenham ride or die. family knows snitch if found guilty s down you.

this letter subsequently became major part of crown s case against alleyne.

covert tape

police obtained license record braithwaite, alleyne , kika in of police van, able establish 3 knew each other.

the tape showed braithwaite offering alleyne , kika money saying not present @ murder scene. kika heard discussing getting teardrop (alleged referring teardrop tattoo mark him having been involved in murder) , discussing fixing person records cctv area. kika heard saying see when happened yeah kinda quick ting [sic] boom, went down road, come up, boom, finished. m saying? – apparently in relation murder itself.

additionally, alleyne heard on tape discussing disposing of evidence.

braithwaite heard on tape trying bribe others not there , revealed on tape clerkenwell crime syndicate, better known adams family, had made threats against kinsella s murderers, indicating each marked man.
