on 30 april, jal due success of debut studio album won 4 awards , received 2 nominations @ indus music awards. band won best lyrics , best composition , best song awards, song aadat , along best band award @ music awards. also, band nominated best music album , debut album , best composition , song lamhay , award. on 24 september, jal received nomination best song , best lyrics award song lamhay , received award best pop group , debut album aadat, @ sahara sangeet awards, held @ oakland arena in oakland, california, united states.

in 2006, jal s music video song ik din aayega declared second best video among top 100 videos selected ary musik channel. on 31 march 2006, jal once again went on performing @ alhamra auditorium in lahore. following day, band went on performing @ nawabshah district, first time. afterwards, band went on performing across border in neighbouring country, india, @ modern school, new delhi on 7 april. on 6 may, jal won mtv asia award favorite artist india @ mtv asia awards 2006 held @ siam paragon in bangkok, thailand. band performed song aadat live @ music awards. after month, on 10 june, jal went on performing live @ defence club , arts council karachi, in karachi. followed performing live in capital city of state andhra pradesh, in hyderabad, india. on 15 december, jal performed live in front of crowd of 15, 000 audiences @ tundikhel first time in kathmandu, nepal. band opened act performing teri yaad , followed massive hit lamhay , performing many cover songs lal meri pat . on 23 december, jal released video album woh lamhay, included music videos released band , remixes of songs aadat , lamhay dr. zeus, through record label hom records.
