at espanola valley high school, advanced placement (ap) courses offered @ evhs in every subject. there on 27 elective classes offered students including concurrent enrollment @ northern new mexico college.


students of evhs on individualized four–year otherwise known next–step plan due standards-based curriculum set district , state. since 2011, student required 24 credit hours graduate evhs, 23 needed.

evhs students have earned 3.5 gpa yearly , involved in extracurricular activities (including athletics), can apply , considered award. torch award prestigious honorary award of kind @ evhs. award created former principal bruce hopmeier in 2005.

nmped state assessment

the new mexico public education department (nmped) replaced no child left behind act , ayp testing new school grading formula, took effect 2010–11 school year. grade calculated using many forms of testing, , includes graduation rates.
