churchill oke: churchill mk ii fixed ronson flamethrower. 3 part of 1942 raid on dieppe put out of action before equipment used.
churchill crocodile: churchill mk vii equipped kit including armored fuel trailer used compressed nitrogen pressure. flamethrower replaced hull machine gun leaving main armament unaffected. 8 hundred conversion kits produced. operating under organization of 79th armoured division, other specialised vehicles, deployed following 1944 normandy landings in north-west europe , in italian campaign. deliver eighty 1-second bursts out 120 yards (110 m) before refuelling.
