all students required live on campus first 2 years, unless portland resident. residence halls include soa (stewart-odell-akin), forest (alder, manzanita, juniper, spruce, , ponderosa), hartzfeld, holmes, platt-howard, copeland , include east, roberts, , west, on-campus apartments.


several of student residence halls have themes. stewart health , wellness , providing home wish live in drug , alcohol-free environment. akin known multicultural dorm , hosting majority of students outside of united states u.s. students international experience. platt west houses platteau student-run arts center, , visual , performing arts (or vapa) while platt east known global village . spruce, in forest complex, offers all-female housing. manzanita, in forest, home outdoor pursuits floor environmental action floor. juniper, third forest building, remodeled house students junior class standing or higher in single rooms double beds. hartzfeld , holmes house upperclassmen, requiring sophomore standing or higher live in. east hall, roberts hall , west hall series of on-campus apartments completed in 2003 , require junior class standing or higher live in.


lewis & clark college residence halls co-ed. while individual rooms house 1 gender, students may opt otherwise under college s gender-neutral housing policy.
