Second Curfew Cizre
on 13 december 2015, turkish authorities renewed curfew on cizre city repress kurdish militants. siege lasted until 11 february 2016. turkish army stated 659+ pkk militants had been killed during curfew. 14 february, 123 bodies reportedly amassed in local morgues, of bodies reported have been burnt. on 7 february, large-scale operation conducted in cudi neighbourhood , number of buildings hit artillery. turkish army claimed 10 pkk militants had been killed in operation, whilst pro-kurdish sources claimed killed civilians. pro-kurdish peoples democratic party (hdp) claimed 70-90 injured civilians had been forced stay in basements of buildings in cudi 20 days. on 11 february, military operations in city ceased. on 1 march 2016, announced curfew end following day. human rights groups claimed 263 had been killed, including @ least 92 civilians.
