the mugham festival founded , traditionally celebrated in azerbaijani city of shusha. last mugham festival in shusha took place in 1988. because of conflict in karabakh region, shusha has been occupied armenian forces since 1992 , azeris have fled city. today festival lives on , has been held in shaki since november 1994. every year thousands of people participate in festival.
